MaxChat Notice

the Max Headroom chronicles

I have taken the MaxChat forum offline due to very low user traffic over the last several months.

I had hoped that a vibrant and involved community would arise and connect through the MaxChat forums, and for a time there was great activity and participation. However, activity has tapered off to the point where there is rarely one post a month and only two or three visits by established users. There has not been a new user registration in a very long time, either.

I would leave the forum up for what very light traffic comes through except that it takes time for me to to stop in and check on things, which I must do every day to stay on top of spam, bot and other inappropriate activities. With the legitimate forum activity all but at a standstill, I need this time for other tasks.

You are welcome to raise a hue and cry and convince me to put the forum back on line. I miss all the regular users who have moved on to other things!
