Where it is useful to do so, names in this list are linked to other pages.
- Characters with enough significance to warrant discussion (especially those shared between the telefilm and pilot episode, or who otherwise appear in more than one episode) are likely to have a link to a page here.
- Actors who are regulars or recur in multiple episodes are likely to have a link to a page here.
- Actors who appear in one episode, or have very minor roles in more than one, will have a link to their IMDb page, if they have one.
- Characters and actors who lack any link are those about whom there's nothing useful to say and do not have IMDb listings worth a separate visit. There are a number of these, since the ABC series tended to use very minor, sometimes one-role actors.
